FIRE RATED GLASS PARTITION WALL WITH EI30 TO EI90 FIRE DOORS
MB-78EI
The system of fire proof walls MB-78EI can be used to execute internal or external partitions with single and double doors and technical windows of fire proof class EI30 to EI90, as provided under the following standard: PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010. The system has been classified as non-fire propagating (NFP). It may also be applied for the purpose of building smoke-proof constructions.
The application of glazed fireproof barriers in building industry should be subject to the technical documentation of the building, designed in accordance with Technical Approval awarded by the ITB Institute [Building Research Institute], applicable standards and relevant regulations.
FIRE RESISTANT WALL PARTITIONS OF EI 120
MB-118EI
The MB-118EI fire rated walls are used to make fire rated glass partitions with fire resistance class of EI 120. The system is classified as non-fire spreading (NRO). It’s design & construction is such that, it provides a technical connection with the MB-78EI door, which means a number of common components (such as glazing beads, cooling inserts, expanding tapes, seals and most accessories) and also similar to the basic system, production and installation technology.

UNDERSTANDING FIRE CLASSIFICATION
There are different types of fire classification which can be simply described as:
(E) – INTEGRITY:
The ability of a component or construction to maintain the integrity of the element on one side only, without spreading the fire to a non-heated side as a result of penetration of flames or hot gases.
(EW) - RADIATION:
Limits heat radiation emitted from the fire-exposed side to the non-fire-exposed side. Protecting nearby materials from catching fire due to excessive heat.
(Ei) – INTEGRITY & INSULATION:
The ability of a component or construction to maintain integrity of the element on one side only, without spreading the fire as a result of a significant heat flow from the heated side to the non-heated side.
